Why It Matters
Many organisations still rely on legacy telecom services without realising it.
With the national PSTN and ISDN network retirement, some services may stop working if they rely on older analogue infrastructure.
Even where migration plans exist, it’s common for things to be missed particularly across multi-site organisations.
Hidden dependencies such as alarm lines, lift phones, legacy broadband circuits or forgotten analogue lines can create unnecessary risk.
A Connectivity & Network Review provides a clear picture of what services you currently rely on and where improvements may be beneficial.
Connectivity & Network Review
We review the services that keep your organisation connected, including:
• broadband and dedicated internet services such as BTnet
• wide area networks (WAN / SD-WAN) connecting multiple sites
• phone systems and SIP services
• legacy PSTN or ISDN lines ahead of the network retirement
• backup connectivity and resilience options
• opportunities to improve performance, reliability or cost efficiency
The aim is to ensure your connectivity is secure, resilient and ready for future growth.

What The Review Covers
We review the services that keep your organisation connected, including:
• broadband and dedicated internet services such as BTnet
• wide area networks (WAN / SD-WAN) connecting multiple sites
• phone systems and SIP services
• legacy PSTN or ISDN lines ahead of the network retirement
• backup connectivity and resilience options
• opportunities to improve performance, reliability or cost efficiency
The aim is to ensure your connectivity is secure, resilient and ready for future growth.
Common Risks We Uncover
In many reviews we uncover issues organisations were not aware of, such as:
• legacy PSTN lines still supporting alarms or lift phones
• broadband circuits that are no longer fit for purpose
• contracts due to expire without visibility
• lack of backup connectivity or resilience
• opportunities to improve performance with dedicated internet (such as BTnet)
Identifying these early helps organisations avoid disruption and plan improvements in a controlled way.
Five Steps
1. Initial Conversation
We begin with a short conversation to understand your organisation, locations and any known connectivity or telephony services.
This helps us identify where a review may provide the most value.
2. Estate Review Disclosure (BT Customers)
If your services are with BT, we provide a simple Estate Review Disclosure Form via e-signature.
This allows us to securely request service information from BT on your behalf.
3. Connectivity Estate Review
Once authorised, we request account information and prepare a report outlining:
• active connectivity services and circuits
• contract start and end dates
• PSTN or ISDN dependencies
• internet connectivity and resilience considerations
• opportunities to improve network design, reliability or value
3.1 Service Review (All Providers)
If your services are with other providers, we can review available information such as recent bills, service summaries or contract details. Using this information, we prepare a report outlining:
• active connectivity services and circuits
• contract start and end dates
• PSTN or ISDN dependencies
• internet connectivity and resilience considerations
• opportunities to improve network design, reliability or value
4. Findings & Recommendations
We schedule a follow-up call to review the findings and discuss any recommendations or opportunities identified.
There is no obligation - the review is designed to give you a clear picture of your connectivity estate. Should you wish to move forward with any improvements, we’d be happy to support you.
5. Implementation & Support
If you decide to move ahead with any recommendations, we can help manage the process.
We work closely with our BT partner channel back-office teams to place orders and coordinate installations.
From planning through to delivery and beyond, we remain available to support you - acting as an additional layer of help along

Frequently Asked Questions
Have Question? We are here to help
What is the PSTN switch-off and how could it affect us?
The UK’s traditional PSTN and ISDN phone networks are being retired as part of the move to fully digital infrastructure.
Some services that rely on analogue phone lines such as alarms, lift lines, payment terminals or older broadband services may need to be upgraded before the switch-off.
A connectivity review helps identify whether any of these dependencies exist within your organisation.
Is the Connectivity Review really free?
Yes. The review is designed to provide a clear picture of your current connectivity services and any potential risks or opportunities. There is no obligation to proceed with any recommendations.
What information do you need to carry out the review?
Initially, we simply need a short conversation to understand your organisation and any known connectivity services.
If you are a BT customer, we may ask you to complete a simple Estate Review Disclosure Form via e-signature. This allows us to request account information securely from BT on your behalf.
What if our services are not with BT?
That’s not a problem. We can still discuss your connectivity environment and review available information to identify potential risks, improvements or future options.
What happens after the review?
Once we have gathered the relevant information, we prepare a summary of your current services and any findings.
We then arrange a follow-up call to walk through the report and discuss any recommendations or opportunities identified.
Do we have to make any changes after the review?
No. The purpose of the review is simply to provide clarity and insight into your connectivity environment.
If you decide to move forward with any recommendations, we would be happy to assist but there is no obligation.
Can you help implement any improvements?
Yes. If you decide to proceed with any changes, we can help place orders and coordinate installations through our BT partner and back-office teams.
We remain available to support you before, during and after implementation.
How long does the review process take?
The initial conversation usually takes around 15–20 minutes.
Once we have the necessary information, the review and follow-up discussion are typically completed within a few days depending on the complexity of your estate.
What types of organisations benefit from a connectivity review?
The review is particularly useful for organisations that:
• operate across multiple locations
• rely on business connectivity and phone systems
• want to understand the impact of the PSTN switch-off
• want reassurance their connectivity infrastructure is future-ready
How do we get started?
The easiest way to begin is with a short conversation.
We’ll discuss your organisation, any known connectivity services and whether a review would be useful. From there we can guide you through the next steps.

What if everything is already set up correctly?
That’s great and in many cases the review simply confirms that everything is working as it should.
However, organisations are often surprised to discover hidden dependencies, legacy lines or opportunities to improve resilience or performance.
Either way, the review provides reassurance and clarity.
Why do organisations ask for a connectivity review?
Most organisations request a review because they want to:
• understand how the PSTN switch-off may affect them
• check their connectivity infrastructure is future-ready
• review contracts, services and resilience options
• ensure nothing has been overlooked across multiple sites
A short conversation is often the best place to start.
